In February 2007, Splendid China Mall opened its door to Canada as a Chinese-themed shopping centre. Splendid China Mall boasts more than 150 shops, restaurants, and food court in an area of more than 90,000 square foot. Due to popular demands, Phase II development is currently underway that will see the shopping centre expanded to include more than 300,000 square foot of space, making Splendid China Mall the largest Chinese-theme shopping centre in Ontario.
